Description
The Commonwealth Law Bulletin is the flagship of the Legal and Constitutional Affairs Division of the Commonwealth Secretariat.
Published quarterly, this comprehensive journal of law and legal affairs throughout the Commonwealth has proved essential reading for judges, Attorneys General, and other key decision-makers including law ministers, law reform agencies, law schools and private practitioners.
Launched in 1974, it is the only single volume covering this area, and it contains everything needed to stay up-to-date with the law, professional developments and policy decisions across the Commonwealth.
The Bulletin is divided into the following sections:
- Articles – topical pieces by leading lawyers and academics, including international developments (conventions, agreements and legislation with international repercussions) and Commonwealth legal initiatives
- Law reform – recommendations for changes in the law in individual Commonwealth countries
- Judicial decisions – including reported cases in administrative, commercial, constitutional and criminal law, and human rights
- Legislation – short synopses of recent legislation, and how it has affected individual Commonwealth countries
- Book reviews
An index is incorporated into the final issue of each volume.
The Commonwealth Law Bulletin is published for the Commonwealth Secretariat by Taylor & Francis. Click on the link below for more detailed information, and to place a subscription.
