Description
Eleven case studies, taken from a civil society perspective in the Commonwealth, tell the stories of civil society partnerships with government and the international community in the implementation of projects based on the three of the four themes of the Plan of Action: democracy, peace and conflict; poverty eradication and economic empowerment; and human rights and the law. This publication is the first in a series used to explore the nature of multi-stakeholder partnerships. Further research will explore the relationships from a government perspective and will consider the fourth, critical area of the Plan of Action: Gender and HIV/AIDS.
A Commonwealth Foundation title.
